After doing that tag game, I thought that it would be really cool if I just did a Starkid themed one, mainly because you could get some strange and hilarious answers. For those new to the game, I've just shuffled my Starkid playlist, which has every song from every Starkid performance :) Just to let you know, you are permitted to skip duplicates of songs: eg. if you have reprises, instrumentals, demo's or mash-ups.

THE AVENGERS!!!!!!!!!!!
Warning: May
or may not contain spoilers depending on what you call spoilers. It’s just my
favourite quotes and villain mention, but no plot stuff.
The dynamics
between Hulk and Iron Man are amazing. There were so many amazing one liners
and the way that Hulk woke up Stark was hilarious.
And Loki was
hot. Again. In Thor he was hot, and now he’s just even hotter because he’s more
evil.
Having Cobie
Smulders in it made me and my sister gasp when she first came on screen. And each
time they said “suit up” I kept on thinking of Barney.
I originally
didn’t like Robert Downey Jr. but he had such good lines in this. “Doth your
mother know you weareth her drapes?” was one of the best lines of the whole
thing and had me laughingfor about 5 minutes afterwards.
But
honestly, even though there were so many heroes in the movie, but there was
only one SUPER hero in this movie: Joss Whedon.
Other
favourite quotes:
Hulk. Smash.
So that’s
what it does.
This is
definitely the best movie of the year. 2010 was Inception, 2011 was Harry
Potter 7pt2, and this year The
Avengers.
It was
actually pretty funny. The first thing I see when the credits come on is Joss
Whedon. Then the second thing… and the third. Just shows how much involvement
Joss had in the movie and it’s AWESOME!!! And that wasn’t all. It was called A
JOSS WHEDON FILM!!!!!!!!!!!!! How EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Until Next
Time, Adios Amigos!
P.S. Just found out there was an extra extra scene at the end. That is why I hate seeing movies with my parents. They never let me stay till the end.
P.P.S. They should now re-release Serenity and say it's by the creator of The Avengers

A sad generation
I recently got Facebook and was randomly browsing through everything and I found a note by my friend Mary. She has kindly given me permission to paste it here, so thanks Mary :)
"Someone recently asked me, "Why don't you drink/want to go to afterparties?"
My short answer was, "Because it's stupid."
... and it is.
Upon more thought, I realised what a sad generation I have been born into. Somehow it's deemed normal and expected of teenage behaviour, for us to go out and drink until we either pass out in our own vomit or make a complete embarrassment of ourselves. And even stranger (and consequently sadder), this behaviour is deemed necessary for us to have 'fun'.
Tell me, HOW IS BECOMING INORDINATELY PISSED A 'FUN' ACTIVITY?! TELL ME!
I've had someone say, "It just is fun." Same person also wonders why she gets terrible grades.
Another has told me, "It's hard to stop drinking." Then well go complain to a therapist, or even a rehab clinic.
"But all my friends are doing it!" And here's the crux of the problem. What kind of friends let other friends do this to themselves? Break the law, damage their body and potentially create a life long problem? Great friendship right there.
"We're only teenagers for a few years, you've gotta break a few rules." NO! You are not invincible! You are an immature teenager who is deemed 'underage' by the government for a reason. I most of all despise this attitude. We are teenagers for a few years, so we should treasure them, not waste hours of our lives because we can't remember them from alcohol abuse. The concept that drinking and getting drunk is a mature way to party is ridiculous. At least adults know this.
Above all, I treasure myself. It sounds vain but that's the root of all my decisions, selfishly or not. In this case, related to 'fun underage alcohol abuse', I understand myself.
And I know that I am not complete in terms of who I am.
If you talk to adults, about ninety percent will tell you that they didn't know who they truly were 'til they hit 20-26 years old.
Because of this, I do not want to define my future self by submitting to peer pressure, fitting into the social norms, and destroying my own living and growing flesh from early on by drinking. I won't deny I've had a few testers, and there are some I do enjoy, but I have never even considered letting myself become overly wasted.
The minute someone my age tells me they were drunk at some party or are going to get drunk at some party, the words, 'disgusting', 'foul', 'low self-esteem', 'undisciplined' and 'idiot beyond comprehension', immediately attach themselves to said person. Even if the person is very close to me. (However, it doesn't mean that makes them any less of a friend, it just means that I pity them and I wish they had chosen better.) I have never glorified alcohol and have no need to define my youth by it.
Neither do I think that refusing to go to parties with alcohol has anything to do with being a Christian. I have heard of friends unable to remember five hours of a night, I know of people who have been poisoned by alcohol and as I mentioned before, I respect my own body and I'd very much prefer to take care of it myself. If I am unable to take care of my own person, then what a sad lump of useless and burdening flesh I am.
So to conclude my thoughts, I want to say that I feel a great sadness mixed with a great disgust at the way my generation is behaving, alcohol being the main offender here in Australia. I wish that people could just act responsibly and maybe use their brains for a little bit (it's not that hard people) and work out what's best for themselves. If what's best for you is to feel like a sheep and waste yourself away then fine, I will be elsewhere, working towards a future I know I will be happy with."
~ my friend Mary.
All of what she wrote fits in perfectly with my own views of the situation, although I have to add that whilst I hate getting drunk and everything, it is fun to not get drunk and have something on everyone else for the rest of their lives. Also, I'm not Christian like she is, I'm Agnostic, but I was brought up in a Christian household, so the point still stands.
Until Next Time, Adios Amigos!
P.S. It's Star Wars Day today :) May the Fourth/Force be with you!

Life of a Sweet Witch
A while ago I had to write a fractured/postmodern fairytale. Basically my own version of Hansel and Gretel. At the time of writing I was doing BEDIM, so I took on the format of a blog and called it Life of a Sweet Witch. Now that I've got the assignment back, I can post it on here. I'm quite proud of my fairytale and my tutor said she loved it too.

FAMINE
This famine is getting too much for me. The
possibility of finding any animal worth eating is very slim during this winter.
It’s also hard to find anyone to let me buy their food as most are scared of my
red eyes. Hopefully things will get better.
A NEW HOME
A kind woman came along today. She told me of a
house she had built for me, made of cake and sweets. But before she gave me the
keys she made me promise one thing... to lure her step-children to my house and
give them food. She explained how she had tried to get rid of them before by
leaving them in the woods, but they had gone back home. I accepted her offer.
As the winter should be letting up soon, I guess I can spare a few warm meals
for her children. They could help me to hunt as I cannot do so properly with my
poor eyesight.
STARVED
The children arrived today and they looked starved,
the poor things. I gave them a good meal, but that used up the rest of my
winter supplies. I have now put them to sleep, but I don’t know what to do now.
I cannot keep this promise to their step-mother to keep them fed.
SURVIVAL
I have the solution. I don’t like it, but it is
necessary for survival. I shall eat one of the children... the boy, Hansel. I
think I shall fatten him up first, just so it is a better meal for the girl and
I.
I HATE ME
The girl hates me. I don’t know how to explain our
necessity nicely. The boy is now in a cage and his sister won’t stop crying. I
hate me too, but what else is there to do?
GETTING HUNGRY
The boy isn’t getting
fatter. Everyday I send out the girl to hunt and gather berries which I cook
and give to him. He gets the best bits of food and yet he’s still thin. His
sister and I are getting hungrier by the day as we usually go without a
substantial amount of food. Perhaps we should just cook the boy and stop
wasting our efforts on him.
NOTHING
I’m writing this from the country hospital’s ICU. I
asked Gretel to make a fire and she tricked me into leaning over the flame. She
pushed me in, freed her brother, stole my money and ran away. Luckily there was
a hunter walking by who took care of my burns. Now I have nothing, especially
since the weather has already started to wear away the house. Soon, I will be
back to living in my house of sticks.
MEMORIES
The children came by today. They said they were
sorry and that they understood I was just trying to survive. They offered me
shelter with them in return to be their cook – their step-mother had passed
away. I accepted. A home full of bad memories is better than no home at all.
And memories can be forgotten.

Fangirling
So, since StarKid's Holy Musical B@man! came out, I have watched it every single night. Well, not all of it. If I don't have time for the whole thing, I just watch my favourite songs.... well, all of the songs.
I also noticed that Joe Moses has read TFIOS which is amazing and made me fangirl.
I got my hands on the new Kate Miller-Heidke album. I LOVE HER VOICE!
I also bought myself $80 in iTunes money, so now I have the soundtrack for Holy Musical B@man! (minus the instrumental for To Be A Man because it won't download properly). I also bought the StarShip soundtrack, the two HeyHiHello EP's, Ryan Seiler's Into the Wind and Dave Day's new EP.
For anyone who hasn't seen Holy Musical B@man! I strongly suggest watching it on Team Starkid's YouTube channel. Seriously. If you like Batman and other superheroes, watch it. If you like Starkid, watch it. If you like candy, watch it. If you like Musicals, watch it. If you don't like any of those, watch it; I guarantee that you'll love it no matter what.
It's time to kick it up a notch because I wanna be your friend forever and a Starship Ranger. There's no way you'll be disappointed with Starkid. There's no way you won't wanna gt back to Hogwarts after you see Jeff Blim, Joe Walker and Brian Holden work their magic with their Red Vine wands. Seriously, I have learnt the majority of the dances, especially the Jeff Blim ones because I found a cane in my wardrobe.
Watch it! Now! Go! Go forth and split your sides! OR ELSE UMBRIDGE WILL MAKE YOU SIT ON HER KNIFE!

Holy Musical B@man!
So I'm a massive fan of Starkid, and on Friday they released Holy Musical B@man! And it did not disappoint.
Just like Alex Carpenter, I'm not going to give out any spoilers in case anyone hasn't seen it yet, but it is good. And even though this is the first production without Darren or Joey involved in it, it was dazzling... is dazzling the right word? Probably not, it's too small a word...
When I first watched it, I thought it wasn't as quotable as others, but compared to other Starkid shows, ALL the songs in this production are catchy and are definitely going to be listened to over and over again. (I'm referring to songs like Flight of the Pussies where, they're only good in the contact of seeing the play.)
Jeff Blim who, as far as I know, is new to Starkid, really owns the scene whenever he's in it, and that's saying something because Joe Walker and Brian Holden do such a good job as well. There's a particular scene that makes me laugh for about 5 minutes at least whenever it's on, and I just rewatch it over and over.
After downloading it on Saturday night, I have watched it 3 more times and it grows on me every time.
For those people who have seen it, don't you think it would be a good idea for Charlie McDonnell and Alex Day to sing one of the songs about... you know what ;) (NO SPOILERS REMEMBER!!!) Well... it's not so much as a good idea, but a want from every nerdfighter who is a Starkid fan.

Birthday Awesomeness
So the past Sunday was my birthday, and it was awesome.
I had to work in the morning, so I wasn't so thrilled about that, but I like working there anyway, so it wasn't too bad. I was just bummed because I didn't have that much time to prepare games and stuff afterwards. Anyway, at work my boss's dad made my a massive desert pie for my party. HE'S SO NICE! And it tasted really good. I also learnt a new way to cut onions really tiny, so that was good. I also got a chance to grab a birthday Boost Juice which was nice. I ALWAYS get Mango Tango Crush in case anyone was wondering.
I have such an amazing group of songs in my playlit at the moment. I didn't put them on for the party because no one knows the songs, but listening to them makes it a really good way to start the day:
- Glad You Came: Glee Warblers
- Lady Godiva: Alex Day
- Worth It: Luke Conard and Ryan Seiler
- Cough Syrup: Glee, Darren Criss
- Flight of the Prince (Acoustic): Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls
- Room to Breathe: Christian Caldeira
- Light of You: Christian Caldiera
- Hole in my Heart: Christian Caldiera
- Right Here: HeyHiHello
- Movie Song: HeyHiHello
- Like It's Quidditch: The Station
- Call Me Maybe: Carly Jae Respen
- Nerdfighteria Island: Hank Green
- Delete You: ALL CAPS (Kristina Horner)
- Girl in Stilettos: Annah Mac
Anyway, back to my birthday. I organised a race around the house. It was originally going to be at my local primary school, but the Melbourne weather decided to suddenly drop 10 degrees for the weekend, so it became really cold. But, it turned out really fun. We had the race, then dinner, then played Cranium (so much fun), then desert where I gave a eally awkward and unprepared speech in which I thanked everyone for putting up with my crazy and my sister for being awesome. I forgot to say thanks to Ally for helping me organise the whole thing and being my Facebook proxy when no one was replying via text. So here I am now:
To Ally Cullinan: Thank you for being my go to person whenever I needed to add something to the party details and for helping me organsie everyone. You, too, are made of awesome.
OH! I GOT A LAPTOP!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOP! It has a camera and no blocking of the internet!!!! Now I can totally get Facebook! .... although that would mean having to become friends with my dad..... perhaps not then..... (for my friends who want me to get Facebook, I'll let you know more details when I see you next) but I HAVE A LAPTOP!!! I am typing this pst on it now, how exciting!
A couple of my friends got me a massive P!nk picture thingy and it's 295/500 and it's really big and really cool and OMIGOSH SO AWESOME! It even has it's own Certificate of Authenticity at the back! SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just went for a haircut... now it is uber short... well not uber short, but shorter than I normally get it cut.
StarKid are putting Holy Musical Batman up this Friday!!!!
Lady Godiva didn't do as well as hoped, but it still got to number one in Slovenia at one point which was awesome. Poor Alex. He worked so hard at getting it to number one.
Yesterday Jess, Anne and Jane came over with their parents and we all played Cranium. Then Aunty Shook came over and we sang Happy Birthday to her because it was her birthday (poor her, sharing a birthday with Kristen Stewart) and Jess did the Ellen Dance Challenge behind people. It. Was. Hilarious!
What else is good? EVERYTHING! Oh, except for the fact that I probably should start revising for a science test.....
Until Next Time, Adios Amigos!
It. Was. Hilarious!

Dream 13-14/03/12: Meekakitty Meeting
I started to talk about YouTube and my favourite female vloggers, Tessa and Shawna, and told the orange hair girl that she looked remarkably like Tessa and she was just as crazy as her.
She turned to me and told me that it was her after I mentioned the “i’m a bat” video.
... I fangirled.
Until Next Time, Adios Amigos!
