Time

This is a poem I wrote a while back. I was going to write a Doctor Who FanFiction about the Doctor giving River her diary and insert the poem into the story, but I doubt that it ill happen anymore. Here it is :)

Time.

Time can run

Away from us.

Time can make us feel

Guilty that we didn’t spend it

With one person.

Time can lengthen

Days needed

To be cut short.

Time can shorten

Moments that will be

Remembered for eternity.

Time can be

Our enemy: cruelly

Cutting lives short.

And Time can be

Our friend: giving us

Moments like these to treasure.

The Bus Stop

She sees him,

Just standing there

Next to his love.

She wished he

Could see her

Wanting him

So much.

His one love,

Laughing

At his jokes.

She sees them,

Standing there

At the bus stop,

Soaked by the rain.

But they’re

Not really there,

Just a shadow.

Taken away so

Unfairly from her.

Taken away,

By the ghost bus.

Silence poems

Hey peeps!

After watching The Impossible Astronaut, I was inspired to write this poem about the Silence and the affect they have on humans. I first wrote it into a paragraph and I have posted that up too. Enjoy!

Silence (Paragraph)

Our past. We look back at it. But what has happened to those moments we’ve forgotten? Those moments are surrounded by Silence, forgotten until we see a picture. Then we remember. Then we forget them as quickly as they were remembered. They remain Silent for eternity.

Silence (Poem)

Our past.

We look back,

But what about

The memories we lack?

They’re surrounded

By Silence.

Forgotten until it’s time

For remembrance.

But the moment

We’re distracted,

They’re forgotten,

As if never remembered.

They remain

Silent, for

Eternity.

Quiet, as before.
